A sharing across the water

It is fair to say some of us don’t venture off the island very often but the Arran group were kindly invited to join the West Kilbride group at their monthly meeting. So armed with our postcards so far we travelled across the water before meeting the bus that took us to the Barony Centre. If you have never been to the Barony centre you must go. In fact, the whole town is worth a visit as it is designated a Craft Town and has many working artist studios that are also worth a visit.

Much time was spent admiring all the work and chatting about inspiration, techniques and future plans. Fiona talked to the group about events coming up on the island and also about new collaborative possibilities. It was quite apparent that we have started a meaningful connection between the two creative communities and there is much enthusiasm for this collaboration to continue. 😀
